The manual is well written and informative. I have had friends and family comment mostly positive on it. A family member who served in the military had a negative view on the American flag section as unnecessary. I disagree with him on that. This manual is full of useful information related to survival and other subjects as well. Great little manual!

The book provides simple information that will not only engaged the reader but learn in a timely manner. The illustrations of the pictures in the book are clear and easily execute in a practice matter. The size of the book is great for your pocket when you traveling or out in the wilderness. In addition, the book is small enough to give enough room for other necessarities in either your pocket or bug out bag. I highly recommend the book not solely upon my view but on other views, the information, and its size! Lastly, Rob, Tom, and the team are great people and down to earth.

GREAT book.This is packed with a wealth of information that for me is tremendous. I have 20 + years in Law Enforcement and private security. I have been in many situations years ago and I ordered booklet for a review and to keep with me for emergencies. I highly recommend this book.

A very useful guide to fill in any knowledge gaps one may have in the field. True to its compact size, it fits nicely in the hand or pocket. The plastic bag for weatherproofing is a nice touch. I opted for the version with the magnifier on the back (just do it it's worth it). Overall, a great addition to a BOB or survival kit and would make a great gift.

I can’t believe all the information they put in this book! Snare traps, navigation, determining if ice is safe to walk across, plant identification, shelters, fires, CPR, map reading, jumping cars, holidays... there’s even a chart of common phrases and their translations into 6 other languages! Comes in a waterproof, resealable bag too:)

I keep this in my bag and review it often when I have down time. There is a lot of useful information in a very compact size. For a while I was carrying a thinker version of something like that was more comprehensive but was bulky and didn’t fit nicely in my pockets. It took my a little bit to figure out the formatting but I love this and plan on purchasing more for kits I want to make for friends and family.

I love LOVE this book, I own at least 4 or 5 by now, and I can't get enough of it! They're small enough to store everywhere, the paper, print, and binding quality is top-notch, and the content inside is not only incredibly informative but hand-drawn and colored where it matters most! Buy one for all your first aid kits, BOBs, GHBs, INCH bags, etc. I can't state how much I love this field guide, you guys have spoiled me for any other survival guide or compact reference manual out there!
